  1. We really don't need to be registering print drivers wDevs. Apple had
  2. registered a lot of printer IDs in the past, but there was enough confusion
  3. about the process that very few developers really bothered to do this anyhow.
  4. So, these days we don't know what ID's are being used and what aren't,
  5. therefore the registration process is not necessary.  Given that QuickDraw
  6. GX drivers are what we're telling people to make, we're also getting very
  7. few requests for new wDev IDs.

  9. Creator registrations for print drivers, and type registrations for any
  10. documents they might use/create, will continue.  This process requires using
  11. the standard Creator/File type form.
